Liturgical Environment / Liturgical Linen Ministry

 

This is the ministry of preparing the church environment for the celebration of the liturgy through the enhancement of our surroundings, inviting the people to worship our Lord. This group keeps all liturgical fabrics clean, dusting furniture, replacing candles and changing the decorations in the church according to season. The space should inspire us with awe and wonder and also help us feel comfortable and at home. It may seem that these two qualities are opposed, but in fact when joined together, they can provide the setting for dynamic worship.

 

Liturgical Linen Ministry, its role in the liturgy is by cleaning and purifying the Eucharistic linens.
